About the Class

Hey kids, music is fun! The Melody Makers is a new music group for kids between the ages of 6-8. Through this class, students will have the opportunity to explore music with peers in a comfortable and safe space, experience new things, and have fun doing it! This class will support socialization opportunities through collaborating in live music-making experiences, song-writing, sharing musical preferences, movement, and so much more!

Class Details

  • Schedule: Tuesdays, 5:00 PM – 5:50 PM

  • Dates: classes begin May 6th

  • Ages: Recommended for ages 6-8

Pricing

Participants will be charged a monthly fee of $125.00 for the duration of their enrollment in the class.

Class Focus Areas

Socialization

Students will learn more about their peers through songwriting and instrumental experiences focused on peer to peer interactions.



Play

 Students will engage in social skills games to practice expressive and receptive communication skills, turn taking, and attention skills.





Collaboration

Students will contribute to group songs and projects by making choices and sharing ideas based on collaborative writing or movement prompts.
