Our Mission
Our Story
Spectrum Creative Arts began when three Rochester-based music therapists shared vision to build a “second home” for people of all ages, backgrounds, and needs to come together and express their creativity. In 2013, Spectrum proudly opened the doors to its clinic in Pittsford, NY, offering unique, student-driven creative arts experiences in music, art, theatre, and dance. Under the direction of music therapists Megan Resig, Noa Ferguson, and Wade Richards, Spectrum’s talented team of arts educators and therapists cultivate its mission to inspire and empower its students through active, person-centered engagement in the arts. We offer individual sessions, group classes, and ensembles both on-site at our clinic and throughout the Greater Rochester community, providing education and therapeutic services in early intervention programs, school districts, community centers, senior living facilities, rehabilitation clinics, and group homes. Spectrum Creative Arts is passionate about creating exceptional arts experiences for students of all backgrounds and needs. Come explore the arts with our growing “family!”
“Inclusion is not bringing people into what already exists; it is making a new space, a better space for everyone.”
