Project Description

About the Class

Through this class, students will explore music with individualized experiences in addition to group collaboration. Students will create music in the moment, pre-compose their ideas, and gain broader understanding of the musical elements they hear and create. Students can expect socialization opportunities through choice-making, sharing their preferred music, collaborating on music-making experiences, and supporting each other when performing. This class lends well to a variety of student abilities, and can be individualized based on group enrollment.

  • Schedule: Tuesdays, 10:00 – 10:50

  • Recommended Ages: Teen/Adult

Pricing

Participants will be charged a monthly fee of $125.00 for the duration of their enrollment in the class.

Students will engage in social skills games to practice expressive and receptive communication skills, turn taking, and attention skills.

Students will create their own music both independently and in collaboration with their classmates to increase opportunities for self-expression.

Connect

Students will learn more about their friends through songwriting and instrumental experiences focused on peer to peer interactions.
