It has been a particularly busy beginning to the school year here at Spectrum Creative Arts, in part because we’ve added quite a few new additions to our team! It is always a pleasure to watch our team grow, and we are incredibly excited to introduce each of them to you!

Lindsey Oliver

We’d like to re-introduce Lindsey Oliver-Landry, MT-BC!

Lindsey was one of Spectrum’s first music therapists to join the team in 2013. During her 6 years with Spectrum, she made a lasting impact in the K-12 school districts where she worked, pioneering innovative and accessible formats for expanding the reach of music therapy services to large student bodies. After a recent relocation to Boston, Lindsey has returned to Rochester to rejoin Spectrum’s team in a new role as the Assistant Director of School Therapy Programs. In this role, she will be working with Spectrum Director, Noa Ferguson, to support the Spectrum team, school districts, and students that Spectrum provides therapeutic and educational programming for. We’re thrilled to have Lindsey back to share her endless creativity, energy, and spark with our team and community. Welcome back, Lindsey!

Jenna Kellog

Hi there! My name is Jenna Kellogg and I am a board-certified music therapist at Spectrum, working with students both in local school districts and in the clinic! I just recently graduated from Nazareth College and completed my internship at the Mary Cariola Center, and am so glad to have the opportunity to stay in the Rochester area. As a new professional in the field, I am so thankful to be working with a team of professionals who are so passionate and supportive!

Terese Manfredi-Hill

My name is Terese Manfredi-Hill and I am a k-12 Certified Art Teacher with a Masters in Art Therapy from Nazareth College. I have experienced the healing power of art from a young age and strongly believe everybody can create. I have seen the power that art has to connect, heal, improve self esteem, communicate and become cherished reminders of loved ones or experiences.
I love people and art and realized in High School that I needed to do, make and be around the creation of art every day of my life. I have earned the privilege of teaching people from ages 3-103!  I am working Part-Time at Spectrum and when I am not there I teach art in Senior Living Facilities with a small business I help found called Art for the Young at Heart. In my ‘free’ time, I enjoy the shenanigans of my family, value my friendships, and support my community through volunteering in various organizations. I love my garden and I love painting my garden! I enjoy cooking foods from many parts of the world and love to support local farms and ethnic grocery stores in and around our area.

I’m excited to bring my experiences and perspectives to Spectrum. And I am very happy to work in such an inclusive environment and to help students grow through music! I look forward to new experiences to grow as a new clinician as well!

Chrissy Trespeses

Hello!  I’m Chrissy, and I am the music therapy intern at Spectrum Creative Arts for the 2021-2022 term!

I am finishing my undergraduate degree in Music Therapy at Montclair State University, located in New Jersey.  My primary instrument is violin, which I began studying at four years old.  While I have a heavily classical background, my personal mission is to make music more accessible so the joys of music-making can be shared with as many people as possible!

I am so excited to have the opportunity to develop my skills here at Spectrum, and I’m looking forward to meeting you!
