It’s been three months since our team transitioned to virtual services, and we have to say, our students have pretty much become pros at navigating all of the new technology. While we are excited about our return to in-person services, we have also loved the creative challenge of finding new ways to make music interesting, accessible, and fun!
As some students gear up to return in August, we wanted to showcase some of the incredible work our students have done virtually with our very first Virtual Student Recital!
Because we have so many students, we will be splitting the recital into two sections. The first will be held on Tuesday, June 30th at 6:00 PM and the second will be on Tuesday, July 14th at 6:00 PM.
Over the past few weeks, students have been working with their instructor to put together video recordings of their performance selection. We’ll be sharing these videos at each event over Zoom for students and their invited guests. A private link to the recital video will also be sent to the students should they want to share with friends and family who might be unable to attend.
We are so excited for this unique showcase and grateful that we have the technology available to make it happen!
