To our students, families, and caregivers,
We wanted to share an update with you regarding our current response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
The health and safety of our students, families, caregivers, and team are a top priority at Spectrum. In the interest of continued transparency, here are some initial thoughts and actions we would like to share with our extended Spectrum community regarding best practices for ensuring everyone’s continued health and well-being:
Actions implemented by Spectrum staff:
- Spectrum staff members will continue to be encouraged to stay home when experiencing any signs of illness.
- In addition to the sanitizing stations located throughout our clinic space, each room in Spectrum will be outfitted with disinfecting wipes. Rooms and contents will be sanitized by Spectrum staff before and after each use of the room.
- We are encouraging Spectrum staff to sanitize their hands before and after each session.
Actions encouraged for Spectrum students:
- For the month of March, we will be relaxing our 24-hour cancellation policy related to illness. Please continue to notify our front office and teaching staff as soon as possible if you are not able to attend a scheduled session due to illness.
- As always, we encourage any persons entering the Spectrum space to be mindful of the well-being of others co-inhabiting our space. Spectrum will be closely monitoring COVID-19 updates via information released by the CDC, WHO, and OSHA, and introduce any additional actions necessary to continue to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff alike.
We appreciate your cooperation and help in preserving the health and well-being of our growing community here at Spectrum.
Best,
Noa, Megan, and Wade
